About the Leverage Finance Director role:
This is a great opportunity for a lawyer experience in leveraged finance to join a US asset manager in central London. The role will be very transactional and involve working very closely with the investment team.
Your key responsibilities:
- Identify and analyse legal issues in order to evaluate potential investments in various jurisdictions but with a focus on Europe;
- Structure, negotiate and close transactions including debt financings, acquisitions, dispositions, and joint ventures;
- Provide legal advice in connection with monitoring existing investments;
- Be able to work autonomously and closely with the business understanding the commercial needs as well as legal needs.
Your key skills:
This position is best suited to a lawyer with at least 8 years PQE and who has strong leveraged finance experience, loan origination, unsecured credit and debt arrangements. Experience with funds, specifically UCITS would be a benefit but not essential. You should be able to work autonomously and closely with the business in this transactional role.
