Compliance Director – London – FMCG Start-up

The Company & Role

An FMCG start-up are looking to appoint a new Director of International Compliance to be based in their Central London office and work as a close adviser to the EMEA management team. The priority of the Compliance Director will be to help them shape their compliance culture and infrastructure.

Responsibilities of the Compliance Director:

• Serve as focal point for an enterprise-wide culture of international compliance
• Provide effective leadership and consultation on corporate compliance and governance to the EMEA Management Team, departmental leaders and 3rd party business partners
• Partner cross-functionally with teams, including Legal and Commercial, ensuring that all business units are in compliance with the Company's business ethos and ethical standards and corporate compliance policies.

The Ideal Compliance Director:

• Candidates with at least 7 years' industry experience in compliance gained within the FMCG / Pharmaceutical / Biotech sectors are of interest.
• Candidates can come from either a compliance or legal background.
