A Law Costs Draftsman wanted for exiting opportunity with a Top 50 international full-service law firm at their office in their South Yorkshire offices. Salary is negotiable & depending on experience.

Due to continued expansion and implementation of a new team, my client is looking for a Law Costs Draftsman/Negotiator, the team acts for a wide variety of clients ranging from large insurers to local authorities and large corporate self-insurers.

The workload is preparation of Bills of Costs for Detailed Assessment arising out Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence and general costs insurance matters ranging from small to high value claims. OR Negotiation within the same.

You will have previous experience preparing Statements of Costs for Summary Assessment, Schedules and Costs and Costs Budgets. Other duties include negotiation and settlement of legal costs, preparing Points of Dispute and Replies, preparing applications for Interim Costs Certificates and preparing hearing bundles for Detailed Assessment.

Applications are invited from draftsman AND/OR Negotiators as the requirement is varied.
