An award winning International Law Firm is looking to hire a new Business Development Manager to join the Insurance group for London and the other regional offices.  This role would be ideal for an experience Business Development Manager who is looking for a full mixed role, whey they can make strategic impact and help shape the growth of the firm along with a Business Development Executive who will be reporting into the Senior BDM.  Responsibilities will include leading the business planning and budgeting required by the Insurance group to develop long range development plans, ensuring the Insuring group develops compelling and competitive value propositions by practice area and team, securing high placement in leading legal directories in collaboration with the marketing services team, working with the marketing team and the lawyers to build overall brand and reputation in the external market place, act as the central point of contact for best practice bid management within the Insurance group, manage and drive the delivery bids, proposals, client presentations and capability statements, improving standard content and material to support the bid process, provide strategic advice and guidance to lawyers concerning how to raise profile, awareness and drive market reputation to key buyer groups, work alongside lawyers to implement appropriate positioning and business development tactics including legal updates, bulletins, blogs, conferences and seminars.  Other duties include working alongside the Head of Client Development to reaffirm and develop the Insurance group’s Key Account Programme and implement CRM best practice.  Candidates must be degree educated, have experience of being a Business Services Manager within a Professional Services environment, ideally within a law firm and must have the ability to think commercially and strategically and are equipped with strong operational and project management skills.
