Corporate Lawyer

Growing offshore law firm requires three Corporate Associates in its Cayman Islands office – attractive tax-free salary and lifestyle – 3 years’ pqe minimum.

This well-known offshore law firm has grown significantly across a network of offices that spans the key financial centres. Its lawyers advise international clients, both onshore lawyers and institutions, on the full range of contentious and transactional offshore work.

Its Cayman Islands office is undergoing a period of expansion with a particular focus on its corporate team. This has created openings for three new associates, a couple at mid-level and one more senior (probably around six or seven years’ pqe). You will be handling a broad range of high-value transactional work, inevitably including some exposure to investment funds.

You will need to be qualified in the UK/Australasia/Canada with a minimum of three years’ pqe which is essential for a work permit. City backgrounds are welcome for this corporate lawyer role but we are also interested in hearing from lawyers from leading corporate law firms outside of London and internationally. It is a highly client facing role so strong communication skills and a flair for building relationships will be expected.

This is a highly ambitious firm which can offer the successful corporate lawyer excellent opportunities for career progression in what is a friendly and down to earth environment. The role offers an attractive tax-free salary, bonus, benefits and relocation allowance.
