Role: An exciting position has arisen within a Yorkshire-based Housing Association. Our client, a national not-for-profit housing association, is looking for a new Head of Legal to backfill a vacant post in their expanding team.

Day to day duties:

- Leading the associations legal team ensuring the high performance culture is developed and maintained
- Managing the teams budget and undertaking company secretarial duties
- Preparing business cases for investment and growth and managing strategic risks
- Advising on public procurement and contractual matters

The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor with previous people and leadership experience in legal environment. Applicants should be strong leaders with a positive attitude, focused on the teams development and output. Candidates may be required to work from different sites from time to time so access to a car and a valid driving license are essential.

Standard hours are Monday – Friday for 37 hours per-week, although evening and weekend work may sometimes be required. Flexible working hours are available, as well as and attractive pension and benefits package.
