Our client, a “West End type” law firm in the suburbs of North London is currently looking to recruit a company commercial lawyer to head up its corporate / company commercial legal team.

This North London law firm which currently covers a wide range of business and personal legal services is looking to recruit for its company commercial practice with a strategic hire. It is proposed that the role will involve leading the law firm’s company commercial practice and taking an active role in business development.

The practice areas advised upon by the company commercial team include:

• Mergers, acquisitions and disposals (M&A)
• Company Law advice
• Private Equity and MBOs
• Shareholder Agreements
• Insolvency Matters
• Corporate Governance and Directors’ duties
• Financings
• Commercial contracts
• Data protection matters
• IP matters
• Employment law
