FS Regulatory lawyer looking for commercial experience?

This top global insurance and reinsurance company is looking for a FS Regulatory legal counsel to join its commercial team based in the City of London. The team is made up of a Legal Director in whom you will report, and two other legal counsel, one specialising in insurance distribution contracts and another on litigious and commercial matters.

The team is now looking for a lawyer with an FS regulatory background to advise the business on FCA and PRA regulations, amongst others, and liaise with the compliance team on an ad-hoc basis. No previous insurance is necessary. You will also work on commercial contracts, service agreements, IT, IP and HR matters as and when they arise. You will be fully trained on the latter if you have limited experience in these areas.

You will have at least 1 year PQE in-house or at a law firm within an FS Regulatory team. You will need to demonstrate a willingness to learn and be flexible as the role is broad albeit with a regulatory focus.
