CORPORATE COMMERCIAL LAWYER - 12 MONTH CONTRACT - IN-HOUSE FS
We're working with a financial services firm in Canary Wharf, London who are hiring a lawyer to cover a period of maternity leave on a 12 month fixed term contract from September 2018.
This role will support the capital markets teams and involves a mixture of corporate commercial legal work; reviewing, drafting and negotiating agreements such as brokerage agreements, netting/custody/clearing agreements, terms of business, confidentiality, and intragroup agreements. The legal department is incredibly busy so the successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work to deadlines in a high pressure environment, and happy to support other projects when needed such as the M&A practice.
The ideal candidate will have qualified from a top UK or international law firm. This will be suited to lawyers from NQ to 2 years PQE, ideally with experience gained within financial services. This is a great opportunity to work closely across the business, and candidates with robust but engaging personality would do well.
