Job Title: Legal Cashier
Location: Brighton
Salary: £25,000 with a rise to £30,000 after Training
Renowned law firm based in Brighton are looking for a legal cashier to join their finance team. This will be a varied role and you will have lots of opportunity to gain new skills and take on more responsibility as you grow within the firm.
A selection of duties that you will be assisting with are listed below:
- Posting purchase ledger invoices
- Posting various nominal ledger entries
- Posting cheque requisitions
- Record bank payments and receipts
- Prepare daily banking
- Billing
- Reconciliation of Land Registry and Companies House invoices
The client do need someone with an accounts / finance background from either another law firm or a professional services environment. You must also have good IT skills, particularly Excel. Excellent training on offer and a genuine opportunity to really progress your career in legal accounts. Well known, friendly firm.
