THE ROLE

An intellectual property associate/managing associate is now sought to join a team which specialises in advising the world's leading companies, financial institutions and governments on their most challenging transactions and assignments.

With offices in major business and financial centres, the firm delivers an outstanding service to clients anywhere in the world.

The firm's IP lawyers work closely with leading multinational companies to enforce and exploit their intellectual property rights.

The team's industry sector expertise includes a strong focus on healthcare, banking, telecoms and IT.

The team advises on national and international IP enforcement strategies for clients and defends their IP rights vigorously where necessary. They maximise the commercial value of clients' IP assets and ward off unwelcome claims from third parties.

A substantial proportion of the team's IP work involves multi-jurisdictional issues.

The team also focuses on R&D, agency, distribution, franchising, sponsorship and other licensing agreements, as well as the related antitrust issues that arise.

ABOUT YOU

With a strong academic record, you will ideally have 2-6pqe in both contentious experience (e. patent or trade mark litigation) and experience of transactional IP (e. corporate support, licensing).
