Specialist practice seeks dedicated Family Solicitor ideally with panel membership in London.
The Role
An excellent opportunity has now arisen within a London-based Family Department for a talented Solicitor with good general family experience. Managing an interesting caseload covering both private and public family matters, the successful Solicitor will deliver high quality advice and ensure outstanding client care at all times. Duties will include:
Membership of the Law Society’s family panel is highly advantageous but not essential. In return, our client offers a competitive salary package in addition to broad-ranging work for the right Solicitor.

The Role
An excellent opportunity has now arisen within a London-based Family Department for a talented Solicitor with good general family experience. Managing an interesting caseload covering both private and public family matters, the successful Solicitor will deliver high quality advice and ensure outstanding client care at all times. Duties will include:
- Advising clients on all aspects of divorce proceedings;
- Assisting individuals in child abduction cases;
- Child Care and Children Act matters;
- Preparing Legal Aid applications;
- Making applications for Occupation and Non-Molestation Order;
- To undertake advocacy where required;
- Maintaining regular billing of client files;
- Participation in business development activities for the department and firm as a whole;
- Building long-lasting client relationships and generating referrals;
- Undertaking any other reasonable duties as required.
Membership of the Law Society’s family panel is highly advantageous but not essential. In return, our client offers a competitive salary package in addition to broad-ranging work for the right Solicitor.
The Candidate
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE. You will also have:
- Technical proficiency in a broad range of family matters;
- Ideally family panel membership, however this is not essential;
