A leading company operating in the financial services sector is looking to recruit a French qualified lawyer with corporate / corporate governance background ideally acquired within the financial industry. Some knowledge of banking and finance regulations and compliance would be ideal. You will be based in the headquarters just West of Paris. As the support counsel for all Corporate Governance matters the post holder will work with their Legal team colleagues across Europe, the Company's Executive team and key central function teams such as Risk, Finance, Audit and Compliance. Working under the supervision of the Head of Legal France & Corporate Governance the successful candidate will undertake a variety of corporate governance tasks to maintain and update the corporate governance framework, providing thorough reporting and advice on corporate governance developments, internal and external policy matters.
