In House Legal Counsel required to advise leading tech business on data protection | 4+ years of PQE
A leading technology business are seeking an experienced data protection lawyer to join their City of London team as Legal Counsel.
The Role and Responsibilities of the Legal Counsel
This in-house role requires you to ensure all data activity aligns with company departments and appropriate entities comply with all applicable data protection and data-related regulations globally. Reporting to the Head of Data Privacy and working closely together with the business team, you will advise on:
- Regulatory transactions
- Product development initiatives
- Compliance matters
The Candidate
The business is looking to appoint a legal counsel who can demonstrate at least 4 years of PQE in data protection and pricy. The new in-house lawyer will also show:
- Some knowledge of GDPR
- Self-motivation and an ability to excel at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a small environment with a close-knit team
