In House Commercial and Data Protection Legal Counsel

A highly regarded international professional services organisation.

THE ROLE

An England & Wales qualified lawyer with 3-6pqe who has a background in data privacy and commercial law is now sought to join the in house legal team.

You will be reporting to the Assistant General Counsel for EMEA in the London office as well the GC in the US.

The role will involve providing legal advice to the EMEA offices as well as working on projects internationally.

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role you will have experience of working in an international legal environment, and handling cross border legal issues.

You will also have an understanding of the GDPR, data retention and destruction, international data privacy law and its implications for the firm.

Additionally you will have experience of implementing a global privacy programme and of assisting with the preparation and review of data privacy processes, policies and issues as they arise as well as assisting with the development of training materials and training.

In-depth data privacy experience is essential along with knowledge of corporate, commercial contract, and money laundering laws.

You will have gained experience gained at a top City law firm with a global practice and ideally have already gained some in house experience.
