About the Legal Counsel role:
This is a great opportunity for a lawyer to join a new bank with a focus on real estate lending. This is a broad role working directly with the GC in a very commercially minded and business focused role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise the business on a range of matters with a focus on loan origination;
- Assist the GC with all matters related to the new company and its growth;
- Supporting the GC in all legal matters;
- Acting as a point of contact for the company in relation to all legal questions.
Your Key Skills:
This role is best suited to a lawyer with 2-5 years PQE. This is a broad role working in a small team, therefore you should be comfortable taking on a broad range of work, supporting the GC and being a main contact for the business. A background in corporate or broad commercial work would be beneficial as you will need to call upon that breadth of experience for this position.
