This International Banking Group is looking to hire a new Banking and Finance Lawyer into it's London based EMEA legal team.

Description

Reporting into the Head of Legal you will be responsible for advising the business on a range of banking and finance matters which will include:

  • Drafting and/or reviewing a broad range of banking and finance documentation (including syndicated and bilateral loan documentation which is based on Loan Markets Association documentation or otherwise) and associated financing documents;
  • Give advice and assistance to any other part of the bank if requested in relation to matters of English law and review/ draft documentation for overseas offices where governed by English law;
  • Reviewing and/or negotiating derivatives documentation and capital markets.
  • Profile

    This role will suit a general banking and finance lawyer.

    The role will involve negotiating and drafting bilateral and syndicated financing and mandate documentation (both secured and unsecured). Such loan agreements will deal with general corporate financing, asset finance, trade finance, emerging markets financing, project finance etc. There will also be other banking and regulatory related projects that the candidate can get involved in as well.

    Further experience in derivatives and/or capital markets transactions would be helpful.

    Due to the structure of the team and salary/package on offer this role is likely to suit a candidate with around 4-6 years post qualified experience, however, this is purely a guide and candidates who feel they are the right fit for this role with more or less experience are encouraged to apply.
