Lead Lawyer 10+ PQE, Construction Division, FTSE 250, London

My client, a leading FTSE 250 in the construction sector is looking for a new senior lawyer to join their existing legal function in a lead role to support the business' construction legal team. The construction division support the business on all matters arising out of their UK building business as well as the infrastructure business.

The successful candidate will benefit from a working knowledge of construction law, although they do not need to have only practised as a construction lawyer. Someone who has gained a broader background in-house within a power or utilities business with some knowledge of construction would be a good fit. What is most crucial is that this person has operated in a leadership role (and ideally with direct management responsibility), is very team focused and has a high level of personal resilience. Good academics and law firm training is also expected, as in an ability to operate at a senior level (and have at least ten years' post-qualified experience).
