Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal - In-House
Location: Central London
Salary: £36,000 + Exceptional Benefits Package
Rapidly expanding City based property company are growing their in-house legal team due to a significant increase in their workload and are looking for an experienced paralegal who is capable of handling all aspects of the process, from instruction to post completion.
The role
You will report into the Conveyancing Manager. On a day-to-day basis you will:
- Be responsible for managing the in-house conveyancing process for your assigned cases through rigorous process management
- Provide conveyancing advice to the valuation team
- Provide conveyancing details to our in-house progression team
- Manage the process of paying out advances on properties
- Liaise effectively with the vendor’s solicitor and ensure that matters are progressed within the required timelines
- Anticipate and solve problems early in the process
- Make judgement calls on case issues within the legal risk framework and know when to escalate issues
- Issue contracts to new customers
