This London-based employment solicitor role involves a variety of work advising employers and senior executives from a range of sectors, with a focus on restaurants, retail, real estate and professional services businesses, financial services, media & tech, including ones with international reach.
Responsibilities include acting for clients on contentious, non-contentious and advisory UK employment law matters including:
*Employment contract, service agreement and policy preparation
*Disciplinary and grievance guidance
*Redundancy and reorganisation programmes
*Cross-jurisdictional workforce projects implementation
*Discrimination and harassment rights
*Dismissal and employment termination
*Board level rights and directors' duties
*Employee shareholder rights and disputes
*Statutory rights and enforcement in Employment Tribunals, including whistleblowing claims
*High Court employment claims and enforcement including injunctions
*Working with and providing colleagues with appropriate support in the provision of such advice to clients and, increasingly, autonomously
The role will also include making contributions to the employment team's marketing and business development.
Employment lawyers suited to this post will be UK qualified with at least 2 years' post qualified employment experience in the UK and have the ability to manage a caseload along with a strong intellectual ability and client facing skills.
