Legal Counsel - Commercial

In House Legal Counsel | FMCG / Commercial | Up to £60K

A major Retail Group in the FMCG Sector is seeking a commercially astute legal counsel to join their in-house team in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

The Role and Responsibilities

The in-house legal counsel will work closely with the growing legal team and key senior figures across the business, providing general commercial advice on areas such as:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts;
• Advising on advertising and marketing matters;
• Intellectual Property;
• Regulatory matters, including tobacco and alcohol regulations; and
• Civil and commercial litigation.

The Candidate

The business seeks to appoint an NQ / junior to mid-level lawyer with up to 5 years of PQE and strong commercial experience. The legal counsel should also demonstrate:

• Experience in all the above duties is not crucial but you will be keen to build up your knowledge and exposure to work from all areas
• Good commercial acumen
• Be interested in providing advice to senior stakeholders and seeking a varied role

Benefits

• £40,000 - £60,000 per annum

This in-house role is open to lawyers seeking part-time employment with a minimum of 3 days per week.
