My Client, a market leading Service Company based in Surrey, is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their legal team for 6-12 months.
The role will be covering a maternity leave and will report into the Deputy General Counsel.
Responsibilities:
*Provide legal advise to the group head office functions including, tax, treasury, HR, IT and finance
*Assist the international clients team in drafting and negotiating international master services agreements and provide commercially focussed legal advice on a wide range of commercial agreements
*Draft and negotiate pan-European and international supply agreements with key suppliers to the group
*Provide legal advice in respect of commercial law, employment, real estate, IP, competition law, data privacy and insurance etc.
*Provide and coordinate legal advice in relation to any M&A activity, including negotiating the relevant transaction documentation.
*Support the company secretarial department in relation to any legal issues and any other ad hoc queries.
To be consider for this position you must be a UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5-8yrs PQE* gained either in house or private practise. You will have a good understanding of contract and commercial law with strong drafting and negotiating skills.
