Banking Payments Lawyer - World Renowned Bank - London

Pure Search are working on an exciting opportunity for a Banking Lawyer to join a prestigious financial services institution.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate a range of commercial agreements and product terms/conditions
• Working closely with senior management and managing external counsel
• Liaise, grow and maintain a working relationship with other teams in the Legal & Regulatory division.

Skills and Experience

• Qualified solicitor
• Expertise in some of the following areas: payments, cash management, FX or trade finance
• Experience supporting corporate banking product teams to maintain existing and develop new product collateral
• Sound understanding of basic legal concepts and standards (e. indemnities, guarantees and insurance provisions)
• Good understanding of the payment infrastructure of a financial institution, the interaction with its products and membership of payments systems.
