OUR CLIENT

A global bank seeks to appoint a lawyer 5PQE+ to handle a FTC project to provide Brexit/regulatory/trade finance support for a 9-12 month contract

THE ROLE

The post holder will be expected to provide leadership of a Brexit Legal Work stream in order to provide an integrated approach as part of the overall Brexit programme working with tax/regulatory and capital/liquidity work-streams.

The role will include the provision of both legal and commercial advice as follows :-

Corporate - incorporation of new entities

Asset transfer processes including TUPE

Regulatory /Data protection matters matters

Managing intra group documentation - Outsourcing, Service level Agreements, Cash Collateral Agreements

Providing standard and bespoke legal and strategic advice to the Steering Committee

Permissions framework for conduct of business post Brexit

Some travel to European offices

Management of external advisers

The Candidate

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity to manage a major project, candidates must be able to demonstrate first rate technical skills, with experience of some /all of the following :- regulatory/banking/Brexit/trade finance.

The role is due to commence in September
