Your new company
A leading Hospital Trust in London known for being at the forefront of medical progress and innovation since their foundation, nearly 900 years ago. They have continued to build on these traditions and have a reputation for clinical, teaching and research excellence. There is now a need for a Research Officer to join the existing team, which manages a large scale complex project that impacts across the organisation to develop and deliver commercial value to the Trust.

Your new role

In your new role as Research Office, you will have a strong focus on research in relation to existing government regulatory information and data within the healthcare sector, with particular focus working within an existing project team on one international project. You will need to understand and interpret healthcare regulations and standards, and gather national and international healthcare market intelligence. In addition, you will be collecting complex information which will have to be converted into easy to understand and intuitive summarised reports. Finally, you will manage the knowledge database and act as the central point for the research intelligence and information for the project.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should hold a Law Degree or a Degree on International Studies (or Degree with equivalent relevance), with a focus on research. Previous experience of working for a private healthcare or NHS organisation in a similar role is highly desirable, although experience of working on national and/or international regulations will also be considered. Finally, you should be able to demonstrate experience of receiving data from a broad spectrum of sources and to bring them together in a coherent fashion.

What you'll get in return
In return you will receive a competitive rate and the opportunity to work in a busy and experienced legal team. You will be doing meaningful work in a team who take pride in what they do, respecting others and striving to do the best.
