In House Legal Counsel | Debt Capital Markets | Central London
A leading Investment Management business is seeking a DCM Legal Counsel to join their in-house team in London.
The Role and Responsibilities
Joining a dynamic in-house legal department and working closely with the business team, the legal counsel will lead and co-ordinate a range of small and mid-market debt deals primarily in loan format but with opportunity to also advise on debt capital markets instruments. Other general responsibilities of the legal counsel include:
- Review of leveraged finance loans/associated syndication term sheets and completion of internal checklists
- Advising the business team on transfer formalities
- Working on other ad hoc tasks (e.g. NDAs, release letters)
The Candidate
The business is looking to appoint a junior to mid-level lawyer of at least 2 years PQE. Ideally the legal counsel with loans, leveraged finance or debt capital markets experience. In-house experience will be an advantage.
