A top tier Commercial Law Firm in the centre of Cambridge have a fantastic opportunity for a junior commercial lawyer to join a dynamic market leading commercial litigation department dealing with high quality work.

The Role and Responsibilities

The commercial litigation lawyer will cover a broad range of work across the department, aiding the entire team and contributing more to team growth. The litigation position will involve supervised work on a broad range of commercial matters including: 

• Company, partnership and shareholder disputes.
• Fraud, Misfeasance and asset recovery.
• Insolvency and restructuring litigation.
• Intellectual Property and information technology disputes.
• Defamation.

The Candidate Profile

The firm are looking to appoint a junior commercial lawyer with an aptitude for business development and 1-3 years PQE gained within a respected regional or City firm. The litigation lawyer will also demonstrate:

• Strong academic background.

• Attention to detail required to produce work / documentation of a high standard.
• Experience of all aspects of commercial litigation, including High Court Litigation (insolvency litigation experience considered useful but not necessary)
• Flexible approach to work to ensure client deadlines are always met and clients are communicated with on a consistent and regular basis.
