Restructuring and Insolvency Solicitor | NQ-4 Years PQE | Up to £52K Plus Benefits and Excellent Prospects

An NQ-4 PQE non-contentious restructuring and insolvency solicitor is required to join a diverse and innovative international firm in Birmingham.

The Role

The junior / NQ solicitor will work for creditors, lenders, insolvency practitioners and companies on a wide range of non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters including:

  • Asset finance
  • General corporate and syndicated lending
  • Acquisition finance
  • Securitisation and debt capital markets
  • Project finance and distressed advisory work
  • Restructuring and corporate recovery

Reporting directly to the Banking & Finance Partners, the successful restructuring and insolvency solicitor will have the opportunity to become a key member within this close-knit and collegiate team and work closely with other colleagues in advising key stakeholders on all types on debt restructuring and enforcement, including contingency planning and security related issues.

The Candidate

The firm are looking to appoint a junior solicitor with 1 year of PQE in non-contentious insolvency and restructuring from a reputable national, international or specialist practice. However, NQ solicitors and candidates with more experience are also encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate interest in the role. In addition, candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong technical skills and a solid academic profile
  • Highly organised, have excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable dealing directly with clients and working with colleagues from different disciplines
