Corporate Solicitor / Associate Manchester – An exciting opportunity has arisen in Manchester city centre for a corporate solicitor of 0-3 PQE to join a highly-respected name in the market. This recruitment drive is part of a sustained period of recent investment as well as a number of key lateral hires at a more senior level. The corporate team is set for further growth and is intent on making further in-roads into attracting the kind of work usually the preserve of the larger national firms.

• Previous experience: 0-3 PQE – Candidates should have a solid background in corporate work – predominantly M&A work though the team also advises on an increasing number of private equity deals.

CLIENT BASE

The majority of the team’s workload comes from mainstream corporate instructions. The department advises on an impressively high deal volume of mergers and acquisitions, often acting for the buyer. In particular, they are currently advising a number of especially acquisitive management teams in a variety of sectors, such as finance, retail and construction.

As well as M&A work, the department also has a solid reputation in private equity and advises some of the key players in the Northern market.
