Commercial Lawyer (Media)

A UK advertising & media organisation in Mayfair is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join its established legal team. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 yrs PQE with credible general commercial experience and knowledge of IP/IT. You will advise and assist the Legal Team by acting as their main general commercial lawyer which will further develop into a broad role exposing you to advertising law and Media Law.

The Role
You will support the legal team by providing high-quality commercial law advise with a focus in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts across a broad range of topics - from IT to freelance contributors to NDAs to standard terms and conditions for services etc - and advising on various legal issues, including data protection and IP/IT. In time you will develop a solid understanding of advertising law where you will contribute to the legal department's social media presence. You will review and approved company presentations on legal and regulatory issues for members and staff.
