As one of two new hires reporting into the UK CEO, this is a rare opportunity to help create a lasting impact on legal processes across EMEA and influence the culture of the Legal team.
The Director with whom I spoke explained that due to this being a new venture, the legal team will have the freedom to make the right calls to ensure they stay ahead of the competition with their commercial decisions and avoid any perceived red tape or structures which would delay a decision being made in as quick a time as possible.
You will be given the support, tools and budgets to act as you see fit and, in return, you will be part of an organisation in growth mode.
What can you bring to this exciting role?
An in-house Legal background within the telecommunications industry
A UK legal qualification (or equivalent) as a Solicitor or Barrister
Excellent commercial acumen; your commercial opinion will be valued as much as your legal point of view.
A willingness to work flexibly and quickly with colleagues across EMEA and the US.
This role will more than likely suit someone working in a small - medium legal telecommunications company, where acting quickly and changing course just as quickly is second nature
