Sellick Partnership is pleased to be recruiting to an excellent permanent opportunity based in a vibrant North East city.
Our client specialises in the provision of professional procurement services for the public sector including central and local government, Higher Education and the NHS. They are seeking a legal contracts specialist to undertake the role of Commercial Contracts Lawyer within their small legal services team.
The successful candidate will be joining a fast paced working environment, working in a standalone role and will be responsible for assisting this organisation with the following tasks;
- Providing an expert legal service to the organisation in commercial law
- Acting as general legal counsel to the organisation's senior management and operational teams
- Developing standards for terms and conditions for sales agreements, frameworks, work orders and supplier service agreements
- Reviewing and highlighting legal risk in existing agreements
- Managing resolution of legal disputes
The ideal candidate will ideally have 5 years+ PQE experience within commercial/contracts, and will have proven experience in the following areas; dispute resolution, EU Regulation, establishing standard terms and conditions of contract and related processes.
