Risk & Compliance Expert

Rare opportunity has arisen for a legal risk & compliance specialist to join a law firm in a home working risk & compliance role.

This particular firm has set up a successful risk & compliance team who outsource their risk & compliance services to other law firms on a fee paying basis. It has been hugely successful and the team is looking for another specialist to join them.

The role is extremely broad ranging and can include auditing files, preparing policies and procedures and implementing these, dealing with breaches of the code of conduct and preparing firms for Lexcel or visits from the SRA to name a few responsibilities. It really is a varied role and can cover any area of law firm risk & compliance just depending on where the particular firm's needs lie.

Whilst the role is a home working one there will be a lot of travel to client firms which range from locations between London and Newcastle. There will also be the need to attend the employer law firm from time to time to meet as a team therefore occasional travel to South Yorkshire will be required.

The firm require someone with broad ranging risk & compliance experience and this experience must have been acquired in a law firm. They are ideally looking for a minimum of 5 years' experience, although those with less but with the relevant skills and experience should still apply for the role.
