In-House Paralegal - Part Time

An excellent and unusual opportunity has arisen for a Part Time Paralegal to join a high profile charity in central London.

The charity works to provide free and confidential advice to individuals in relation to financial, legal, consumer, housing and other issues through a large network across the UK.

The successful Part Time Paralegal can look forward to reviewing and drafting commercial contracts, advising on funding agreements and working on intellectual property matters (like trade marks and copyrights), as well as data protection and privacy matters.  You will also be drafting legal guides for employees, as well as conducting legal research and monitoring developments in the law, particularly in relation to the charity sector.

Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, the Part Time Paralegal will also get involved with project work, such as GDPR and the delivery of an internal project to increase awareness of the in house legal function at the charity.

The ideal Part Time Paralegal will have prior in house experience, particularly working with commercial contracts. Legal experience from another charity or non-profit would be extremely advantageous.

This Part Time Paralegal role would really suit a parent returning to work part-time or a student with at least 12 months’ In House Paralegal experience looking to combine work and their studies.

The charity are very flexible and are happy for the successful Part Time Paralegal to either work three full days per week or to spread the hours across four or five days.
