Our client, Haley Guiliano International LLP (“HGI”) is the European arm of US law firm Haley Guiliano LLP. HGI now seek an Office Manager/PA to support the firm as it moves forward with its plans to grow its European presence run on European lines. This opportunity will involve you to manage the requirements of a busy and expanding office.
The role necessitates attention to detail, commitment, flexibility in worked hours and be able to work well under pressure. The role will vary day to day and is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a role that they can make their own.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the local financial management of the firm
- Diary management
- Responsibility for building/maintenance and related issues
- Maintaining Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
- Managing the firm’s benefit schemes
- Reviewing and negotiating supplier contracts and managing invoices
- Overseeing the building facilities team and other contractors
- Ensuring Health & Safety and other procedures are in place and followed
- Inducting new staff on Health & Safety, and IT
In addition, HGI will be moving to new premises in the near future and there will be a host of tasks required to be taken on to effect a smooth and orderly transition. The successful candidate will relish the challenge and be up to the task of taking on unfamiliar matters with confidence. You will be fully supported by HGI in all matters through direct liaison with New York and San Jose offices.
