Administration Assistant – Personal Injury

We are seeking to appoint a legal Administration Assistant within our highly acclaimed Personal Injury (Asbestos) department on a 9 months fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.

Key tasks and responsibilities will include;
• liaising with clients and various internal and external stakeholders,
• opening new incoming cases electronically, uploading data onto the case management system, generating and distributing reports,
• assisting with collating, drafting documents, preparing bundles and chasing medical records,
• assisting with general administrative support, i.e. photocopying, scanning and filing, paying invoices, responding to general correspondence and other reasonable administrative tasks.

To be successful you must have;
• demonstrable experience of working in an administrative role and supporting a busy team. Previous experience in an administrative support role within the legal sector will be advantageous but not essential,
• demonstrable experience in  providing a first class administrative support, client care and ability to deal with clients in a sympathetic and compassionate manner,
• a high level of proficiency in IT, especially with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; fast and accurate keyboard skills and ability to work with a case management system /database,
• excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with the ability to communicate accurately, clearly and concisely with a wide range of internal stakeholders and clients.

This is a 9 months fixed-term position, based in Manchester.
