Commercial Litigation Paralegal

An opportunity has arisen for a highly talented Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join a growing team on the outskirts of Sheffield city centre. Our client is a niche commercial practice with a growing presence on the South Yorkshire legal market. The role would suit a commercially minded paralegal looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role:
-The role will involve you assisting a group of experienced fee earners on a caseload that covers a broad spectrum of litigation work. This will include commercial and property litigation matters from basic contract disputes through to high value cases.
-There will be a real focus on client care in this role and you will fit into and complement the existing team of fee earners.
-You will liaise with other teams including the Employment and Commercial Property teams in order to help with any relevant litigation matters.
-Boundary disputes, Unfair Prejudice and professional negligence are just some of the work carried out by the firm.

The Candidate:
-For this role it is essential that you have previous experience as a Paralegal within another commercial litigation department. Ideally you will have upwards of twelve months experience.
-The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Company Law, Contract Law, Property Law and Law of Tort.
-Excellent communication skills will be a necessity, with the ability to liaise confidently with commercial clients. As is the ability to build relationships with a broad range of clients from individuals, partnerships and limited companies from a variety of different sectors.
