We are currently looking to recruit on behalf of a leading Manchester firm, for an experienced litigation lawyer to join their travel litigation team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

The role of the successful candidate will be to manage a caseload of medium to high value multi track claims on behalf of their clients. Their travel team support our clients through large loss, complex and sensitive personal injury claims, group actions, policy coverage and inquests. Due to the nature of the work it will involve handling claims under cross border jurisdictions and dealing with private international matters.

This is a claimant role and will involve bringing actions against large tour operators, bespoke providers, travel agents, hotels, leisure and hospitality suppliers and insurers.

The role requires specific litigation experience and the ability to display knowledge of Montreal and Athens Conventions as well as package travel regulations.

We are keen to hear from solicitors or charted legal executives with litigation experience, ideally in relation to Travel Litigation but applications from highly experienced Personal Injury litigators with the ability to oversee multi track work, will be considered.

In return the firm offers a competitive salary, company benefits including a car allowance and the opportunity to work on highly prestigious cases.
