In-House: Legal Counsel (Commercial & Contracts)

A rare in-house position at one of the global leaders in fast moving consumer goods has just become available for a suitably qualified Legal Counsel to join their EMEA legal team based in London.

Listed on the NASQAQ, this hyper active company has products which have a strong sponsorship presence in action sports, music and gaming. Their growing business is fast paced, dynamic and full of energy, just like their products.

The legal counsel will interface with business collaborating with the sales, operations, marketing and finance teams to give legal support and guidance on all areas of the business across EMEA

The Legal Counsel will have be closely involved with:

• Assisting the legal team in a broad range of matters, with a particular focus on distribution agreements, supply agreements, manufacturing agreements, supply chain matters and other commercial contracts
• Commercial negotiations
• Reporting to finance, marketing and sales teams on the status of contracts
• Company secretarial services
• Managing external legal services providers across EMEA

The legal counsel will require the following skills and qualifications:

• Admitted solicitor / barrister with 3-6 years (post training) experience
• Experience in supply chain or manufacturing sector would be highly advantageous
• Demonstrate personal responsibility for their performance and high curiosity about the business
