This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated paralegal with experience in commercial contracts to join a growing company and work within a tight-knit legal function. Offering excellent exposure to high quality work this is a great progressive opportunity.
The Role
- Negotiating, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
- Managing and maintaining commercial contracts database
- Conducting legal research
- Supporting business Procurement, HR and other key commercial departments across the company.
- Ensuring company compliance procedures are adhered to
- Dealing with ad-hoc legal issues alongside the head of legal when required
The Candidate
- University graduate with LLB law degree (or equivalent)
- 2 years experience dealing with commercial contracts in a legal setting, either private practice or in-house
- Excellent working knowledge of general UK legal terminology and principles
- Strong problem solving skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills and can confidently liaise with senior stakeholders
- Able to work autonomously at times and demonstrate the ability to self-motivate
