My client is a leading name in the publishing world. Representing a wide genre of best-sellers, this publishing house has published and distributed some of the mostly highly respected educational articles and journals to professionals across he globe.

They are looking for a Legal Counsel - Publishing to support their offline and digital business based in London.

Description

The Legal Counsel - Publishing will integral in supporting commercial aspects of the business. They will be supporting international commercial contracts - SaaS, content licensing, supplier agreements, distribution agreements etc.

High level stakeholder engagement.

Profile

The successful Legal Counsel - Publishing will be a lawyer who has had media & technology exposure ideally with a publishing business (book, digital, journal etc).

You will be:

- c5 years UK PQE* with training from a leading firm or an in house business

- experienced in commercial contract drafting, reviewing & negotiating; with a focus on

* intellectual property

* licensing

* sales & marketing agreements

- a confident communicator with the motivation to develop solid working relationships with a range of stakeholders

- passionate about the industry.

Job Offer

Excellent offer with a salary c£65k.
