You will be responsible for assisting the firm's highly skilled administrative team with a broad range of duties.
To set up new clients in a timely manner and help collate the client identification and anti-money laundering documentation along with carrying out the ID/address checks on our provided software.
1.2 To update/delete client changes to the database.
1.3 To supervise/assist the more junior Administrator on their day to-day work such as opening and scanning the post, scanning out-going post and by setting an example at all times, monitoring their workload, assisting with their progress and escalating to the Senior Administration Manager as necessary.
1.4 To be proactive in the team’s administration taking on ad hoc projects as required and actively looking for areas to improve the support provided to the team by the administration team.
1.5 To ensure the team's Tax Return E-Filing is executed promptly and correctly, in good time, especially in time for the 31 January deadline.
1.6 To save documents on the network according to the firm’s procedures, to ensure that other members of the team may gain access if required.
1.7 To send faxes, collate and finalise correspondence to be reviewed/signed, book couriers and other postal services (e.g. recorded delivery etc), as directed.
1.8 To take on projects as required by the Senior Administration Manager and complete in a timely manner.
1.9 To assist the Senior Administration Manager and act as deputy in their absence or to stand in for when the more junior Administrator is away from the office.
1.10 To manage the diaries and travel arrangements for the Private Clients’ Team Directors.
To secure this role you will need 5 GCSEs including English at A -C grade, or equivalent
Experience Required:
Type at a speed of 50wpmmin, but accuracy is more important; good use of English grammar; eye for detail.
Supervisory experience
Some PA experience

Intermediate MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Advanced MS Office
Additional skills:
Strong organisational skills; research and analysis skills; excellent interpersonal communication skills in order to deal with people at all levels.
