Interim Legal Counsel Job - Swindon - 3 Month Contract - £Excellent Day Rate


Your new role
My client are a well-known brand and enjoy an enviable reputation for customer satisfaction. Due to an upcoming project within the legal team, our client is seeking an Interim Commercial Solicitor for 3-6 months to start immediately to provide cover for one of the team members. The role entails extensive contact and interaction with business representatives at all levels of the organisation.

The Interim Commercial Solicitor will work alongside the Head of Legal and wider legal department to provide the business and its clients with a range of legal and commercial advice. This will include working on regulated contracts as well as partnering with the business to ensure that legal risk is appropriately managed. As an important member of a small legal team you will also work with the other lawyers in supporting the wider business, working on projects and advising on diverse areas such as competition laws and data protection.

What you'll need
You will have strong commercial contracts and financial services/regulatory experience; knowledge of consumer law would be highly desirable. You will ideally be available to start immediately and the contract will run for 3-6 months, possibly longer.
