Expanding and highly regarded In-House legal team has a fantastic position suiting a focused and business-minded Solicitor with a background in company commercial law.
As an experienced negotiator, you'll be responsible for reviewing and maintaining standard terms and conditions and other contractual documents for the group and its subsidiaries, as well as working suppliers working closely with supplier, IT, Business Change and Marketing. Their highly regarded lawyers are commercial advisers; passionate about the law but integrated into the business agenda.
You will provide timely, accurate legal support enabling the Group to meet strategic priorities whilst maintaining compliance with law and regulation. Being In-House will mean you'll also possess a willingness to get involved in wider commercial issues where the business requires it and be a team player, building relationships with other team members and internal clients within the business. Finally, a desire to live and work in Cumbria and the Lake District with all the benefits that this offers is also imperative.
