Our client is an extremely well sought after designer fashion brand.  They are looking to bring on board a Legal Director to run all commercial enquiries for EMEA.

Reporting to the CFO/COO the main responsibilities will be;

  • Managing all legal and compliance enquiries for EMEA
  • Drafting and negotiating a broad range of general commercial contracts; distribution agreements, licensing agreements, IT/e-commerce, acquisition, banking & finance, PR & Marketing agreements and shop/concession agreements
  • Drafting and negotiating real estate lease agreements as and when required
  • Managing outside counsel
  • Advising HR on employment issues when needed

You will need to be/have the following skills;

  • UK qualified solicitor
  • Experience within the retail sector and a thorough understanding of the issues facing EU retailers
  • The ability to draft and negotiate a broad range of general commercial contracts
  • The ability to advise on; promotions, price advertising, trade licenses, privacy and other legal issues
  • Experience of real estate
  • Thrive on working in a fast paced environment
