An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading electricity and gas retailer/generator in a broad commercial legal role reporting into the senior principal solicitor.
The company are market leaders in the energy, gas and electricity sector, and are looking for a junior lawyer to assist with a range of commercial legal matters. The role offers varied and challenging work including advising on regulatory issues, drafting and negotiating supply chain and national grid contracts, policy work appraising Brexit impact, government interaction, decommissioning contracts relating to coal stations, EPC contracts and some property related law.
You must be a qualified solicitor, ideally newly qualified up to 2QE. You must be a self-starter with initiative and drive. This is a great opportunity to join a high achieving, well respected in-house legal team and will be ideal for someone looking for growth and autonomy.
