An Award-Winning UK Law Firm is looking to hire a new Principal Business Analyst for the London office who will be responsible for the oversight of analysis practices as well as delivering high quality analysis activities to support the successful delivery of the firm’s portfolio of strategic change initiatives. Reporting into the Head of Business Architecture & Design duties will include define & oversee the application of business and enterprise analysis best practice & methodology appropriate to the programme/project/initiative, ensure requirements are aligned with business strategy and ​our ​business architecture roadmap/framework, identifying issues, interdependencies & risks relating to processes, initiatives & strategies, workings with stakeholders to identify, document and design the business analysis and to­be process,  informing the creation & maintenance of strategic investment briefs, business cases, feasibility studies, process models, impact assessments & other analysis artefacts, ensuring continuous improvement within the programme by adapting methodology and planning based on lessons learnt, informing the creation & maintenance of strategic investment briefs, business cases, feasibility studies, process models, impact assessments & other analysis artefacts, filtering intelligence, requirements and ideas from across the firm into capability plans and business need statements, maintaining a business capability & value stream model that connects business needs, business strategy and the future operating model, identifies and explores opportunities for service and business improvement, drives the analysis, identification, prioritisation and implementation of improvements and efficiencies, assesses current capabilities, identifies and interprets business objectives, strategy and inter-relationships including those with people, data and processes to create the operating model, contributes to the design, creation and maintenance of the target operating model and identifies the impact of change on operational service, supports the implementation of benefits tracking & realisation practices across the firm to ensure deliverables enhance business capabilities,supports solution assessments and selection of projects & initiatives which will form the strategic programme and works with IT/execution/delivery teams to ensure consistent implementation & provides consultative support as required.  Candidates must have a recognised Business Analysis Diploma (ISEB/BCS) or equivalent, high knowledge regarding the principles of business change management and experience being a lead Business Analyst/team member or manager, professional services experience is ideal, preferably within a law firm.
