In-house Commercial Contracts Paralegal x 2

A Commercial Contracts Paralegal is urgently required for an exciting in-house assignment with a Manchester based Charity.

This is an on - going, full time assignment that will last for a minimum of 3 months whilst the organisation recruit permanently.

The post holder will be responsible for managing a variety of contracts and procurement enquiries, liaising globally to minimise risk and to provide the legal background that assists the charity deliver on business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of contracts and contract management and related legal areas. You will also have an understanding of UK contract law and experience of using the procurement principles. Candidates from private practice, public sector or in-house teams in industry are all encouraged to apply. It is important however, that applicants have strong commercial acumen and communication skills. Duties will include

• Drafting, negotiating and reviewing contracts
• Providing basic procurement advice
• Supporting colleagues in delivering businesses opportunities related to contract issues

An hourly rate of between £20 and £30 per hour is offered for this post.
