Social Housing Regulatory Lawyer.
This highly regarded UK law firm are expanding their Somerset office and looking to recruit into their social housing team.
This is not a transactional property role, but sits within the wider corporate and commercial department - as you will be advising registered providers of social housing on all governance and regulatory matters.
These clients are based nationally and act as corporate companies.
In particular you will advise on compliance, board member powers and responsibilities, advice on board representation, charity Law and policy. You should be able to advise on changes to and interpretation of the rules as well as advice on corporate governance structures.
Although a UK Top tier law firm, this office maintains a friendly atmosphere and personal touch, which is reflected in how clients are treated.
You will join the wider UK team, and will enjoy autonomy and be used to working on your own initiative.
Solicitors and Legal Executives with at least 4-5 years relevant PQE are encouraged to apply.
