6 month FTC: Commercial Disputes Paralegal at International Law Firm, to £28,000

An award-winning law firm is looking to hire a new Paralegal to support Partners and Associates within their Commercial Disputes teams, on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.  Responsibilities will include drafting and preparing correspondence, reviewing and analysing documents, managing spreadsheets for the team, attending to clients, counsel and third parties both in person and on the telephone and to provide such communication in a professional and friendly manner, tracking projects, tasks assignments and reports to ensure they are running within set timescales and any other duties required by the team.  You will also be expected to conduct legal research using legal databases and books to obtain case law and articles, and present this in an organised and manageable format to the requesting fee earner.  Candidates should have a strong academic background and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Applicants should also have good organisational skills and have the ability to work well in a team.  Standard hours are 9.30am to 5.30pm, however candidates must have a flexible attitude to work, as there may be the possibility of overtime.
